The operating rules arrive for access incentives for the energy transition.
The Mase has just published the operating rules to participate in the procedures of the Fer-X decree.
The decree is transitory, entered into force in February And it will remain active for this year this year. The goal is to encourage the production of electricity from renewable sources. The Fer-X represents one of the main government measures to reach 2030 decarbonisation targets.
2030 floor
The Ministry of Economic Development has created a 2030 climate plan, in line with the European objectives, which sets for the end of this decade a diffusion of renewable energy coming mainly from wind and photovoltaic, with an average annual installed, from 2019 to 2030, equal to about 3,200 MW and approximately 3,800 MW respectively, against an average installed in recent years equal overall a 700 MW.
The Fer-X
The decree, inserted in the integrated national plan for energy and climate (PNIEC), aims to support the development of renewable energies and the reduction of climbing emissions. Access to incentives is granted to plants that provide for the use of renewable sources from photovoltaic, wind, hydroelectric or biogas.
It is possible to obtain incentives through direct access for plants with power up to 1 MW, or through competitive procedures for plants with a power greater than 1 MW. Generally, this type of tenders select the entitled people through competitive rods up to a established roof.
Operating rules
The Mase website has finally published the operating rules for those who want to create large plants. Starting from June 3 and by 12:00 on June 24, the operators concerned will be able to present the events of interest through the GSE Fer-X portal.
With the Fer-X we put in place a modern and competitive tool, capable of attracting investments and accelerating the energy transition. The new mechanism, with the first procedure, will allow to activate up to 11 GW of new renewable capacity, while guaranteeing the economic sustainability of the system and greater integration of green sources in the energy market. It is a strategic step for the development of a key sector of our energy and industrial policy “.
