Small and medium -sized enterprises will have 320 million for renewable energy

The Ministry of Companies and Made in Italy opens A announcement for concessions intended for SMEs. Starting from 12:00 on Friday 4 April 2025, Italian small and medium -sized enterprises will be able to apply to access the incentives intended for the self -production of electricity from renewable sources. The initiative, financed in the context of the national recovery and resilience plan (PNRR), aims to encourage investments in photovoltaic and miniolic solar systems for immediate self -consumption, as well as in energy accumulation systems for deferred self -consumption.

This measure represents an opportunity for Italian SMEs to reduce energy costs, improve one’s sustainability and actively contribute to the ecological transition. Investing in renewable energies is not only an opportunity for growth, but also a concrete step towards a more resilient and respectful development model of the environment.

Opportunities for businesses

With the directorial decree of 14 March 2025, the methods of access to the funds allocated in the context of measure 7, investment 16 of the PNRR, in support of the self -production of renewable energy in SMEs were defined. The management of the program is entrusted to Invitalia, which will evaluate the requests received and assign the resources available according to a ranking evaluation procedure.

Who can access funds

The concessions are aimed at small and medium -sized enterprises operating throughout the national territory, with the exclusion of companies active in the coal sector, in the primary production of agricultural products, fishing and aquaculture. Furthermore, applicing companies must guarantee compliance with the principle Dnsh (do no significant harm)in accordance with EU regulation 852/2020.

The concessions are granted for projects with eligible expenses between 30,000 and 1,000,000 euroswith the following contributions:

The overall fund amounts to 320 million eurosof which the 40% is reserved for the regions of the South (Abruzzo, Basilicata, Calabria, Campania, Molise, Puglia, Sardinia and Sicily) and a further one 40% is intended for micro and small businesses.

How to submit an application

Facilitation requests must be submitted exclusively in electronic format through the computer platform dedicated on the Invitalia website. Applications may be submitted From 12:00 on April 4, 2025 until 12:00 on May 5, 2025.
