Sanremo 2026, Ditonellapiaga wins the cover evening together with Tony Pitony with the song The lady is a Tramp

The fourth evening of the Sanremo Festival, dedicated to covers, ended with the proclamation of the winning duet: Ditonellapiaga with Tony Pitony triumphed, an artistic couple who convinced and knew how to involve, proving to be one of the greatest revelations of this edition. Carlo Conti and Laura Pausini will host, supported by co-host Bianca Balti, who returned to the Ariston after last year’s experience.

On the guest front, space for Vincenzo Schettini, who spoke with a monologue dedicated to digital addiction and the conscious use of social media. A short but direct passage, which for a few minutes shifted the attention from music to a generational theme that is very present even among the younger audiences of the Festival.

The competition stopped to make room for the duets: 30 Bigs paired with artists and guests on songs from the Italian and international repertoire published by 31 December 2025. The performances were voted by Televoto (34%), Press Room (33%) and Radio Jury (33%), with the final ranking limited to the evening only.

The winning duet was announced at the end of the episode, after a series of very different performances in terms of style and musical choices: some more faithful to the originals, others reinterpreted in a personal way.

Here is the podium of the evening:

1 – Ditonellapiaga and Tony Pitony – The lady is a tramp

2 – Sayf with Alex Britti and Mario Biondi – Hit the Road Jack

3 – Arisa with the choir of the Teatro Regio of Parma- What women don’t say

Once the cover parenthesis is over, starting tomorrow we return to the main race. The fourth evening thus confirms itself as a space of controlled experimentation: less pathos, more craft, and a ranking that only affects the story of the week, not the final outcome of the Festival.
