The Ariston Theater has issued its verdict, Spotify’s tells another story. While Sal Da Vinci celebrated with the trophy in hand, a parallel ranking was being drawn on the digital platforms, with different hierarchies and some clear reversals. Data released by Spotify shows that all the competing artists recorded an average increase of +350% in listeners compared to November, when the Big Ones were announced — better than the +268% of the previous edition. Record growth for Bambole Di Pezza (+2000%), Maria Antonietta (+1900%) and Colombre (+1600%), artists who from the Ariston stage gained what they didn’t have before: an audience.
The most striking fact concerns the summit. With over 5 million streams, Samurai Jay’s Obsession is the most listened to song of the competition, despite the 17th place in the official ranking. Sal Da Vinci, overall winner of the final evening, stops in fourth place. The digital podium is completed by Sayf with Tu mi piaci tanto and Ditonellapiaga with Che bother!, already among the artists with the most sustained growth since the beginning of the Festival.
The complete ranking on Spotify
Here are the positions communicated by the platform (listen to the official Sanremo 2026 playlist here):
- Obsession – Samurai Jay
- I like you a lot – Sayf
- How annoying! – Toe in the sore
- Forever yes – Sal Da Vinci
- Necessary Evil – Fedez, Marco Masini
- Labyrinth – Luchè
- Before – Nayt
- Stupid bad luck – Thunderbolts
- Clandestine Poems – Aka 7even, LDA

A ranking that photographs a digital audience oriented towards urban sounds and contemporary pop – and not always towards those who convinced the juries.
Covers conquer streaming
For the first time, Spotify also included the songs performed on the covers evening, and there was no shortage of surprises there too. The five most listened to:
- The Lady Is A Tramp – Ditonellapiaga and TonyPitony
- Andamento Lento (feat. Tullio De Piscopo) – LDA, Aka 7even, Tullio De Piscopo
- En e Xanax (feat. Alfa) – Enrico Nigiotti and Alfa
- The Song of Lost Love (feat. Joan Thiele) – Nayt and Joan Thiele
- Wonderful Creature – Fedez, Marco Masini, HAUSER
The official Sanremo 2026 playlist was the most listened to in the world on the platform. Outside national borders, the most searched song is “Forever” by Sal Da Vinci, with over 10% of the streams coming from abroad – almost a geographical revenge for those in their homeland who won the Festival but not the digital count.
