Today his art is appreciated all over the world, but the very first Fenice wings were born many years ago by chance. It happened when a singer friend asked him for a work of art for his recording studio: Cox, having at the hands of the keys of an old piano, decided to glue them together.

At first he was not satisfied by the result, but subsequently he tried to combine different forms and when he saw the wing of the Phoenix emerge, he was enthusiastic about it.
