The artist who transforms the shadows projected by objects into ironic illustrations

Vincent Bal is a Belgian artist known to transform the shadows projected by common objects into fun and surprising illustrations. It all started in 2016 when, observing the shadow of a tea cup, he noticed a curious similarity with an elephant. A few features of pen were enough to give life to the nice pachyderm.

He shared the work online and the success was immediate, so much so that he pushed him to publish new creations daily born of simple plays of light. A book was also born from this idea: Shadowology.

We just have to immerse ourselves in his magical world of shadows starting from Homer …
