The largest Lego exhibition in Europe in Europe today in Milan: 8 million bricks in 1,500 square meters

Lego lovers, get ready to stay speechless. If you thought that colored bricks were only a pastime for children, it’s time to change you back. From February 21 to October 5, the Rescaldina shopping center, in the province of Milan, hosts the largest Lego constructions exhibition in Europe. Yes, you read well: 1500 square meters of wonders, over 8 million bricks and more than 100 extraordinary models.

A journey between 8 million colored dreams

Entering the exhibition is like opening a gigantic Lego box: everything is possible. We move from the Milan Cathedral in a giant scale to a Boeing 747 in 1: 7 scale, built with one million pieces. We are talking about 11 meters in length, 10 in width and 3 high, for the largest plane in the world made with Lego bricks, landed in Milan.
And it doesn’t end here. Superheroes such as Spiderman and Iron Man greet you with natural size, in 1: 1 scale.

Iron Man

The story, from Titanic to landing on the moon, is told through the adventures of a world rebuilt brick after brick.

And for those who have their heads in the stars? The dedicated area Star Wars offers a journey into the distant galaxy, including spaceships, epic battles and legendary characters.

For young and old: fun has no age

Who said the Lego are only for children? The exhibition denies it, offering an interactive and creative experience also for adults. In the Fun Park, the fantasy takes flight: bricks at will to build, invent, play. And if you are accompanied by small manufacturers, no problem: the Duplo area is designed for them, with large and colorful pieces to create spectacular creations.
It is a place where age does not count. Where you return children, with that spark in the eyes that only building something with your own hands can light. And, let’s face it, how nice is it to finally build a very high tower without anyone throwing it down?

Architecture, art and … anatomy?

Between a superhero and an astronave, we can come across extraordinary architectural reproductions. The Torre di Pisa, the Big Ben, the Milan Cathedral and even the Capitol of the United States show their grandeur in LEGO scale. Every detail is well cared for!

What if I told you that there is also an area dedicated to the human body? Heart, brain, respiratory system and human skeleton take shape in an anatomy lesson that you would never have imagined. An original way to learn and have fun together with the Lego bricks myths!

Even art could not be missing: Munch’s scream, Van Gogh’s sunflowers and even the Mona Lisa have been transformed into Lego mosaics.

A perfect fusion between creativity and culture that leaves you speechless and tears more than a smile.

Fantasy, music, pop art: a world in miniature

There will be tributes to the greats of music and the pop universe, from the Rolling Stones to magic worlds inspired by Alice in Wonderland, My Little Pony and Harry Potter, each construction tells a story, full of details and colors.

The feeling is to have ended up in a parallel universe, where everything is possible and reality bends to the imagination.

And if you are wondering if you really need to visit it, the answer is yes. Not only to admire extraordinary works, but also to rediscover that desire to create and experiment that often lost among daily commitments.
