Olivia5 years old and a big heart like this, protested in recent days in front of the circus, in Novara, to manifest against the use and exploitation of animals.
Why? Well it is easy to say and we know it well: the animals certainly do not perform for fun, but because they are forced, between fears and suffering, torn from their environment, locked up in cages and forced to make unnatural numbers for our entertainment.
Enough of circuses with animals! Today, together with Olivia, a 5 -year -old girl but with a great sensitivity to animals, we participated in the garrison in front of the Madagascar circus in Novara. An initiative to raise awareness and say “no” to the use of animals in circuses. Animals are not a show, and they deserve respect and freedom. Olivia, with her big heart, strongly wanted this demonstration, which represents the voice of many children and adults who oppose these cruel practices. The protest will be repeated on March 15, according to reports from the newspaper La Stampa, with another group of activists.
Meanwhile, the circus managers reject any accusation: “We do not mistreat any animal, a few days ago a zebra was also born“.
