The test examined classic method sparkling wines in the zero dosage, extra brut and brut versions: versatile wines, perfect for toasting but also ideal with fish, shellfish, fried foods, white meats and fresh cheeses.

How the test was conducted
The methodology adopted by Altroconsumo combines objective analysis and sensory evaluations. The products were purchased between June and July 2025 on the Tannico.it platform, selecting the best-selling Italian classic method sparkling wines with a maximum price of 20 euros (some products slightly exceeded this threshold).
