This Japanese photographer portrays exclusively stray cats. His shots are more nice than the other!

Originally from Tokyo, the photographer Masayuki Oki He developed an infinite passion for wild cats, which since 2013 has captured with his camera in any possible situation.

It was precisely in that year that, during a walk in a park, his attention was captured by a wild cat who wandered free. After photographing him, Oki began looking for other cats in the park to take new portraits.

The photographer said he found these incredibly photogenic animals and, thanks to his passion, he managed to develop a unique bond with them. His shots seem to reveal their personality and peculiar characteristics.

Oki has collected his photographs in a book called “Busa Nyan”, which although in Italian it is translatable with the expression “ugly cat,” in Japanese it actually has a meaning of another kind, more affectionate and nice.
