This pair of artists creates amazing paper parrots to protect them from extinction

The couple realizes wonderful Pappagallo -shaped paper sculptures: Each piece is treated in detail and faithfully reproduces the reference specimen, which is carefully studied through in -depth research on its habitat and its behavior. Not to mention naturally of the physical characteristics.

If on aesthetic level these works are impeccable, the same can be said from an ethical point of view: part of the revenues are in fact reinvested by the couple in parrot conservation projects.

Their purpose is at the same time sensitizing people on the importance of the conservation of biodiversity and on the threats that put these animals at risk.

Here is an amazing specimen of Cenerino parrot (Psittacus erithacus linnaeus), also known as the Centro Congo parrot. It is believed to be one of the most intelligent birds in the world.

And here is a specimen of scarlet Ara (Ara Macao) with magnificent red, blue and yellow feathers. This parrot also has now disappeared in some areas of the world, although still prosperous in places like Honduras, where the national bird is.
