Although it is often called “thyroid bonuses”, it is actually a form of civil disability which offers financial support to those who have to face expensive therapies and daily difficulties.
Who can request the thyroid bonus?
The contribution is intended for patients with one of the following thyroid pathologies:
Not all patients with these conditions are automatically entitled to the allowance. The medical commission will evaluate the degree of disability and assign the contribution only if exceeds the 74% threshold.
How to apply for the check?
The first step to apply to obtain the check is to contact the general practitionerwhich will have to certify the pathology and start the request for civil invalidity through the website of theINPS. The patient will therefore have to complete the question, attaching the following documents:
Once the application is sent, the applicant will be convened by the INPS Medical Commission, which will evaluate the disability.
