Tired of the increasingly high costs of rents, Dani Danielion has decided to completely change lifestyle. The idea came to her after seeing on Facebook Marketplace an old yellow school bus, symbol par excellence of the American roads. Instead of looking for a new apartment, he chose to transform that vehicle into a house on wheels.

It took more than three years of work to realize his dream, between design, renovation and infinite hours of do it yourself. As he said on social media, it was by far the most difficult thing I have ever done, but it was worth it because it can now live comfortably, without paying the rent, wherever he wants.

A complete house inside a school bus

Dani has precisely designed every detail of the new home. In the back he built a sleeping area with a double bed, decorative lights and a skylight to look at the stars. Next to a compact kitchen with induction, sink, refrigerator and sideboard. Behind the driving seat, however, he made a bathroom with a shower and hidden toilet, taking advantage of every one available.

To make the vehicle completely autonomous, it has installed solar panels on the roof and used a do-it-yourself insulating foam to maintain heat in the cold months. A job that requested not only creativity, but also skills as an engineer, electrician and interior furniture, as many users have pointed out to her in the comments.

The final result has become a real social case: the videos published on Tiktok reached 22.9 million views and over 3 million likes. Users were unleashed in the comments, praising his determination and ironizing on his multitasking talent.
