We don’t make commitments this evening April 19th: in the evening, after sunset, we will admire the “kiss” Moon-Venus immersed in the Pleiadeswhich – weather permitting – will be perfect visible to the naked eye. And in the same portion of the sky it will also be present Uranusbut to view this distant planet requires the use of a telescope.
As the UAI explains, on the evening of April 19th we will be able to admire a suggestive meeting between different objects in the sky. As darkness falls the thin crescent of Moon growing (just two days after the New Moon) will be in contact with the Pleiadesfollowed by the planet Venus (on the map sky of April 19, 2026 at approximately 9.00 pm).
The meeting occurs in the constellation of Tauruswhere the star also shines Aldebaranand, with a telescope (and a bit of luck), it will be possible to observe too Uranusin the same portion of the sky between the Moon and Venus.
Don’t miss it!
