Like us, no one ever: the Italian tennis team, in front of the Bologna public, wins the third consecutive Davis Cup and confirms itself as the strongest national team in the world even without Jannik Sinner. Incredible guys, who won all their matches in the Finals 2 to 0, losing only two sets in six matches
Complete defenses.

After the women’s national team, the men’s national team also rises to the top of the world again, and does so without losing any matches (therefore without the need to play the double play-off). But above all, this year he does it without Jannik Sinner, the number 2 in the world, demonstrating that he has a host of talents like never before in his history.
Matteo Berrettini and Flavio Cobolli literally took Italy to the top of the world, beating Austria in the quarter-finals, Belgium in the semi-final and Spain in the final (also, however, without its flagship Carlos Alcaraz).
A Davis Cup of records and very strong emotions for us: Italy is the first nation to win three consecutive Davis Cups since 1972, Berrettini achieved 10 victories in a row in this event (between 2022 and this year), and Flavio Cobolli stood out for incredible matches, in the semi-final winning the sixth longest tie break in the history of the competition (as well as the longest ever in singles at the Finals), and resuming a match that seemed lost, the one in the final against Jaume Munar who had initially won the first set against our blue 6:1.
An incredible feat? Maybe now the news would be not to win.
We are proud of you!
