Weak and sick wild rabbit entered a hospital alone to ask for help

A scene that seems to have come out of a fairy tale moved the web: a very weak and sick wild rabbit has sought help in an emergency room.

The animal, hungry and disoriented, entered the hospital clinging to the leg of an employee in Oława, Poland. The scene touched all the medical staff, who quickly activated the services to ensure that the baby received the necessary treatments.

The unusual rescue, which took place on March 19, saw the participation of different entities, including the water brigade of the city. The most beautiful moment came to the end: a driver offered himself to bring the animal free of charge to the rehabilitation center closer.

A new home

Arriving at the Wrocław rehabilitation center, the bunny showed that he is very hungry. When the custodians put in front of food, the animal devoured the whole dish. In the refuge he also found new companions and a lot of affection.

According to the center of the center, the oldest hares accepted the newcomer without hesitation.

“First they sniffed and licked him, then they accepted it completely,” they wrote on Instagram.

The welcoming behavior of adult rabbits was essential to reduce the stress of the puppy and increase his possibilities of survival.

A chain of solidarity

The small rabbit generated a large chain of solidarity. Several volunteers expressed the desire to help the animal in the second half. For now, the bunny has little contact with humans, only with its custodians.
