Antonio Aiello was born in Cosenza on 26 July 1985 and is approximately 1 meter and 70 centimeters tall. After graduating from scientific high school, he concluded his academic career with a three-year degree in Communication Sciences and a master’s degree in Economics at Luiss. TO Very true he told of the beautiful relationship with his mother, who has always supported him, and of the deep bond with his brother Gaetano. On the sentimental front, his last important affair was with Alessandra, a green-eyed girl with whom he dated from high school until university.
From Cosenza to Sydney, then back to Rome
After the Roman years, Aiello decides to go even further and leaves for Australia, settling for several months in Sydney. There he plays with a local band, alternating Italian and English songs, enriching his style with international musical influences. Back in Italy, he dedicated himself to his career with renewed energy, and the results were not long in coming.
Recording success
The first single, Riparo (2011), immediately achieved widespread radio rotation, followed by the EP Hi-Hello in 2017. The real turning point came in 2019 with Arsenico, certified platinum with over 70,000 copies sold, which opened the doors to a period of great artistic prolificacy. In the same year he released the album Ex Voto, which was followed by Meridionale in 2021.
The third album, Romantico, is from 2023. The latest single released is Sentimentale, in collaboration with Levante, from 2025.
His most loved songs also include Il cielo di Roma, veniremi (a ballerina), Che canzoneriamo and Paradiso.
The flirtation with Laura Torrisi
Among the many flirtations attributed to Aiello, the one with Laura Torrisi, Leonardo Pieraccioni’s ex-girlfriend, stands out. According to the weekly Whoa strong passion, although short-lived, would have erupted between the singer and the actress. The magazine had revealed how Torrisi, after the ad experience Celebrity Friendshad developed an increasingly intense interest in Aiello’s music, which was then transformed into something more personal.
Panic attacks
Aiello shared on social media a touching encounter he had at the airport with a fan, who confessed to him how his music had helped her overcome a panic crisis. The singer, struck by her words, opened his heart to her in turn, admitting that he had faced the same problem in the past and that he felt it coming back in that period. A moment of mutual vulnerability that Aiello wanted to share with his followers, underlining how certain apparently casual encounters actually hide something profound and necessary. For him it was confirmation that, beyond music, what truly unites people is the ability to recognize themselves in the same pain and fragility.

What are you singing tonight in Sanremo for the cover evening?
This evening Aiello will be on the Ariston stage for the covers and duets evening of the 76th edition of the Sanremo Festival. The singer-songwriter from Cosenza will join Leo Gassmann, competing this year with the song Naturalin the reinterpretation of It was all already planned by Riccardo Cocciante. The original song dates back to 1975, released on the album The dawnand tells the story of the end of a love lived with the painful awareness that that moment would come sooner or later. Although it did not enjoy immediate success, over time it has become an undisputed classic of Italian songwriting. Recently, its inclusion in the soundtrack of Parthenope by Paolo Sorrentino has given her great visibility back, making her return among the most listened to songs on streaming platforms. For Aiello this is a particularly significant return to Ariston, which this time sees him in the role of special guest alongside an esteemed colleague.
