From theater training to TV
Born in Naples in 1987, De Lucia trained in the theater as an actor, author and director. The stage is his first test: writing, character study, obsessive attention to voice and posture. It is here that he hones the mimic precision that will become his trademark.
The television debut came in 2010 on Rai 3 with the musical show Marialuna… a life all uphill!. The popular turning point, however, is linked to Made in Sud, where the imitation of Maria De Filippi brought him to national attention. The leap with Domenica In and the consecration
2020 marks a clear acceleration: he joins the permanent cast of Domenica In alongside Mara Venier. His forays quickly go viral on social media, broadening his audience beyond the traditional television audience.

His strong point remains Maria De Filippi, but over time the range of imitations has expanded: in addition to Mara Venier, he has brought on stage Barbara D’Urso, Ornella Vanoni, Silvia Toffanin and Laura Pausini herself. He said that she was the one who sewed his first stage clothes and supported him when the dream of performing seemed far away.
