The grand finale of the 76th edition of the Sanremo Festival will be staged at the Ariston on Saturday 28 February. The official lineup with the release order of the Big 30 has not yet been released, but the mechanism of the evening is already defined.
Host and super guest
Alongside Carlo Conti and Laura Pausini there will be Giorgia Cardinaletti, face of Tg1, a choice that reinforces the institutional nature of the final.
Among the co-hosts of the final also Nino Frassica, who began with a joke in the press room:
I asked Carlo to let me in after 9.30pm because I was watching the Wheel of Fortune.
And he added, ironically:
Last year Carlo told me that I was very strong, so this year I will repeat all the sketches from last year exactly
The super guest is Andrea Bocelli, seven years after his last presence at the Festival. A return that ideally closes the homage to Pippo Baudo, among the first to believe in the young Tuscan talent, bringing him to the Ariston stage in 1995. It’s impossible not to think of I will leave with youa symbolic song presented in Sanremo and then became one of the most recognizable in the world.
2026 also marks 30 years of Romancethe album that has sold more than 20 million copies globally, establishing Bocelli as an international ambassador of Italian music.
The moment dedicated to gender violence
During the evening there will also be a space dedicated to the theme of gender violence and feminicides, with the presence of Gino Cecchettin and his Foundation, founded after the killing of his daughter Giulia. An intervention that brings an urgent social issue back to the center of attention, in a television context of maximum visibility.

During the fifth evening, all 30 Big names in the competition will perform and will be able to sing their songs again, so that viewers and professionals will be able to express their preferences to decide the winner of Sanremo 2026. Below, therefore, are the names

How the final works
All 30 competing artists return to the stage. Voting for them will be:
The top five songs on the charts will be announced in no order of placement. The result will be aggregated with the votes of the first, second and third evening, determining a provisional general ranking.
At that point the five finalists will perform again. The three juries will vote again and the final result, added to the previous ones, will decide the winner of Sanremo 2026. Immediately afterwards the other four positions in the top five will also be announced.
Colombo Square
Outside the Ariston, on the stage in Piazza Colombo, there is space for Pooh, who celebrate 60 years of career with a special performance in view of the summer tour. A bridge between the history of Italian music and the new generation of competing artists.
The detailed lineup remains to be defined, but the structure is clear: compact race, double voting for the top five and a finale built between memory, celebration and definitive verdict.
