Alessia and her husband have never asked for anything for themselves. For years, in silence, they have dedicated all energy in a hospitalization in the province of Lucca to save those who had no voice: mistreated horses, abandoned donkeys, forgotten pony.
Their refuge, built with sacrifices and love, was a safe port for hundreds of animals, a last landing land after a life of suffering.
Today, however, Forces are abandoning them. The difficulties have accumulated: health problems, no stable aid, almost zero donations. And there are still many animals to look after. Too many for two people. So, they had the courage to make the most difficult request: Find a safe house for their animalsbefore the situation becomes unsustainable. They don’t want money, they only ask for hope For those who have saved with so much love.
