Saturday 24 and Sunday 25 May, in Pietra Ligure the largest infiorata in Europe returns. The floral rugs, made by 800 masters infioratori from numerous Italian cities and at least 14 countries around the world, enchant for beauty and creativity.
The installation works began at dawn on Saturday and ended in the suggestive night of the infiorata, which transformed the streets of Pietra Ligure into an explosion of colors and creativity.
On Sunday 25 May, in addition to being able to admire the spectacular floral rugs, visitors can participate in concerts, musical fashion shows, guided tours of the infioratori themselves and a series of collateral events.
As if that were not enough, this year the students of middle and high schools throughout Italy were also involved for the fourth edition of the Festival Infiorata of the boys.
Among the works present we find “a window on the sea” of the Infiorata di Montefiore dell’Eso association, in which a girl overlooks the world from a window. The work, explains the association on its FB page, was made with- colored sands, volcanic ash, dry flowers, dried leaves and fresh flowers.
While the masters infioratori of the Caledda association contributed with a splendid work dedicated to peace.
