It is known that the caps are a very coveted recycling material, but it is rarely seen transformed into real chandeliers, or into the ground and table lamps. These do-it-yourself projects, also replicable at home, show exactly the opposite, offering original and creative solutions.
Plastic caps
The first creative proposal has as its protagonists plastic caps of different types. The first lampshade was made with strips of caps of alternating lengths, which start from the upper ring of the chandelier. The light filters through transparencies, creating an original and dynamic light effect.
The cube -shaped lampshade was built entirely by gluing the caps between them, alternating the white with some green caps for a decorative effect. The cube is placed on a low lamp, transforming itself into a unique and sustainable furnishing complement.
Corks
In this variant the lamp takes the shape of a cylinder, entirely made by gluing the cork caps together. The result is a whisk with a rustic and natural character, capable of creating hot and welcoming light plays, perfect for environments with a sustainable and creative style.
In this case, on the other hand, the cork caps were glued together by positioning the upper part towards the outside, so as to give shape and structure to the chandelier.
Corona caps
The structure of this chandelier consists of crown caps, such as those of the beer bottles, carefully assembled to create a modern and original candlestick.
The crown caps were also used in the lampshade of this original table lamp obtained from a bottle: the original lampshade has been removed, but the metal structure has been preserved and covered completely with caps, transforming the object into a piece of creative and unique design.
