The heat these days is putting millions of Italians to the test and, for many, finding an effective way to cool the home has become a priority. Precisely in this period Lidl is bringing back one of its portable air conditioners on offer, a solution designed for those who want to face high temperatures without spending a fortune.
From 9 to 15 July, in fact, in the chain’s stores it will be possible to purchase the Tronic 3in1 portable air conditioner at a discounted price for Lidl Plus customers. The device, which offers three functions in one: cooling, dehumidification and ventilation, will be available for 139 euros.
The characteristics of the Tronic portable air conditioning
This device represents an interesting option for those who want to cool home environments without installing a fixed system. Being a portable air conditioner, it can be easily moved from room to room thanks to the built-in wheels.
The Tronic model offers three different operating modes: in addition to cooling, it can also be used as a dehumidifier or simple fan. The temperature is adjustable between 16 and 31 °C and two fan speeds are available. There is also a digital timer programmable for up to 24 hours, useful for setting automatic on and off.
The air conditioner has a power of 785 W and a cooling capacity of 7,000 BTU (2 kW), characteristics that make it suitable for small-sized environments. The package also includes the remote control, a 1.5 meter long exhaust hose, the fitting and a seal designed for folding windows, to facilitate installation and improve cooling efficiency.

Compared to fixed systems, they have the advantage of not requiring installation work and can be used in different rooms of the house as needed. Naturally, to limit energy consumption, it is advisable to set a temperature that is not too low compared to the outside temperature and to use the air conditioner only when really needed, perhaps also taking advantage of the dehumidification function, which can improve comfort even without excessively lowering the room temperature.
