Noos is back – The adventure of knowledge: the first episode of Alberto Angela’s cultural program which has collected the legacy of SuperQuark it will be broadcast tonight 12 July at 9.25pm on Rai 1 (four more episodes are then scheduled).
Tonight, in particular, the great popularizer will talk to us about the Odyssey created for the cinema by Christopher Nolanwhich will be released in Italian cinemas on July 16th, with director e Matt Damon in the room.

As announced by the Rai Press Office, the episode will open with Christopher Nolan And Matt Damonwhich they will present with Alberto Angela their latest film ‘Odyssey’, which is based on the famous epic poem of the same name attributed to Homer.
It is certainly not the first time that the Odyssey has been brought to the big screen and in the past some blockbusters made based on ancient poems have left critics and spectators perplexed (just think of Troy, the 2004 film directed by Wolfgang Petersen and written by David Benioff).
The Odyssey is perhaps something truly special for its time: in fact Ulysses, the protagonist of this incredible journey back to Ithaca after the end of the Trojan War, is certainly not the emblem of the ancient hero, full of doubts, second thoughts and uncertainties.
But above all the poem is crossed by female figures (mortal and immortal) who continuously determine its developments: the Sirens, Circe, Athenabut also with the same Penelopemuch more than a devoted wife, having to defend the kingdom from the assault of suitors who want to marry her and take possession of the throne.
Will the blockbuster soon in theaters be able to tell all this?
