We don’t miss the first show of August tonight, the “kiss” Moon – Saturn. The conjunction, not very rare but always fascinating, could also be seen with the naked eyealthough to appreciate the details of the Lord of the Ringswe recommend that you at least equip yourself with good binoculars. Don’t miss it!

As the IAU explains, in the central hours of the night between 3 and 4 August we will see the Moon rise and rise in the eastern sky, in conjunction with Saturn. Our satellite will be close to the Last Quarter, and will meet the planet in the constellation of Pisces (on the map the sky of August 4, 2026 at approximately 2.00 am).
Certainly with a telescope the show will be even more beautiful, but with a bit of luck – weather permitting – the event could also be admired to the naked eye.
