With August now in full swing, with days at the beach, swimming pool, walks and outdoor holidays, sun protection remains essential. And in recent days the Cien Sun line is back in evidence in Lidl stores, with different references for adults and children and prices that remain under 6 euros.
The range had already been launched in recent months with some new features for 2026, but the new summer flyer now brings it back to the fore and on offer together with various after-sun products. An interesting opportunity especially for those who still have to stock up before Ferragosto or the end of summer holidays.
The Cien Sun sunscreens that we find at Lidl

Among the products present in the flyer we find both SPF 30 and SPF 50 and 50+ protections, with different formats depending on needs.
For adults there are, among others, the 250 ml SPF 30 sun lotion, offered at 5.49 euros, the 200 ml classic SPF 30 sun spray at 3.99 euros and the 200 ml SPF 30 Sport spray at 4.99 euros. The Anti-Age SPF 30 sun cream also appears in a 75 ml format, at the price of 3.49 euros.
For children, however, Lidl offers various high protection options: the 100 ml SPF 50 sun cream costs 3.29 euros, while the SPF 50 and 50+ sprays cost 5.99 euros.
The 250 ml SPF 6 sun spray oil at 3.99 euros also remains in the assortment, designed for those looking for a product with a very low protection factor. In this case, however, it should be remembered that an SPF 6 offers limited protection and is not equivalent to an SPF 30 or 50.
Aftersun products also start from 2.99 euros
The flyer doesn’t just include sunscreens. In fact, several Cien Sun after-sun products are also returning, designed to hydrate and refresh the skin after exposure.
The 500 ml after-sun lotion costs 2.99 euros, as do the 250 ml after-sun gel and cream. The 300 ml after-sun body cream with aloe vera is offered at 4.49 euros, while the illuminating after-sun body butter costs 4.99 euros.
Among the references there is also the 500 ml tanning solar water for 2.99 euros, which however should not be confused with real sun protection if it does not contain an adequate SPF factor.
How much do Cien Sun sunscreens cost from Lidl
The Lidl flyer also highlights that, according to NielsenIQ data referring to 2025, Cien Sun was the most purchased suncare line in Italy among the large-scale retail brands. A figure that concerns sales and does not, of course, represent an independent evaluation of the effectiveness of the products.
For those who have yet to purchase sunscreen for August, the price range remains very limited: almost the entire range is between 3 and 6 euros.
