HYROX’s official response and cleaning operations

Faced with increasing pressure and online fuss, HYROX management issued an official statement admitting that, although there are well-defined medical and biocontaminant protocols, the unexpected situation has created ambiguity and confusion in the application of the rules between elite competition and mass participation.

The organization confirmed the launch of massive extraordinary clean-up operations overnight in Beijing, with the removal and replacement of contaminated equipment and carpets.
