Investigations between secrets and the past: the unprecedented investigative couple

Searching for the truth in the folds of a suspicious territory is Laura, a Carabinieri negotiator played by Elena Radonicich, who has returned to her country of origin to look after her sick father and is forced to deal with the ghosts of her past. Joining her in this risky search for the truth is Bisan, played by Kel Giordano, cousin of the missing boy and veteran of years spent in the foreign legion.

The rich and varied cast of the production also includes well-known faces from the small and big screen such as Ricky Memphis, in the role of a police marshal, Marco Cocci, Maurizio Donadoni, Eleonora Giovanardi, Sebastian Luque Herrera, with the extraordinary participation of Giulio Scarpati and the presence of Isabella Ferrari. A dense network of complex characters that will guide the viewer through untold truths and breathtaking twists.

The Lower Emilian region is the protagonist: from Correggio and Carpi to the film sets

The true visual soul of the fiction has its roots in the evocative and melancholy setting of the Lower Po Valley, between the provinces of Reggio Emilia and Modena. The filming, which began in 2024, transformed the symbolic places of the area into a real open-air set: from the squares and porticoes of Correggio to the historic views of Carpi, between Piazza Martiri and the Castello dei Pio, passing through suggestive corners such as the former Opg in the historic centre.

Correggio on the other hand boasts a solid cinematographic tradition, having hosted iconic productions such as Mortadella by Mario Monicelli with Sophia Loren, Radio arrow And Made in Italy directed by the “landlord” Luciano Ligabue (originally from Correggio), until Ferrari by Michael Mann. With Strangersthis landscape of agricultural industriousness and thick fogs shines again on the screen, reminding everyone that beneath the surface no one has ever truly been a stranger.
