What the second season is about: the litmus test after success
The two young underdogs from Pavia find themselves at the peak of success but have to deal with the most complex part: understanding how to evolve and what to tell in a new album when their life has been turned upside down by the songs that narrated it. In the first two episodes, the narrative moves to Turin in 1983 to draw a parallel with the brothers Stefano Righi and Stefano Rota, aka Righeira, questioning what matters most between career and friendship when fame knocks on the door.
The new season consists of 8 new episodes broadcast every Friday until November 20th, accompanying the viewer through the events that led to the birth of generational masterpieces such as You are a legend, En route to the house of God And How comea song dedicated to Silvia (played by Ludovica Barbarito) which marked a more mature and serious turning point compared to the original dance style.

Where the series is set: from Pavia to the Lazio coast up to the United States
Faithful to the biographical and geographical origins of the duo, the production chose to keep its roots firmly in reality, moving through a map of locations that unites the Lombardy province with large national and international sets. Pavia returns to being the beating and indispensable heart of the narrative, with 15 days of filming among streets, bars and historic courtyards to tell the story of the places where it all began.
However, the work was considerably extended: Rome represented the nerve center with 102 days on set, useful for reconstructing the Milan of 1990s fashion and the recording studios. The troupe also moved along the Lazio coast, touching Ardea and Montalto di Castro with its provincial road of the 4 Dogane, and spent 4 days in the historic center of Turin between Piazza San Carlo and Via Po, taking advantage of the baroque architecture to recreate the atmosphere of that decade. The series finally moves to the United States, taking the story overseas to tell the impact of the American dream on the path of the two musicians.
