Listeria alert again: the Ministry of Health has recalled three types of cheese from South Tyrol
The alarm over raw milk cheeses does not stop. The Ministry of Health announced the recall of three batches of branded products Tasting due to possible contamination from Listeria monocytogenes.
Only a few days ago, the Prevention Department of the Provincial Health Services Company of Trento disclosed the news of an intestinal infection in a 9-year-old child, probably due to the intake of raw milk cheese.
The lots affected by the recall:
The products were made in the factory Bsackerau, Vahrn. And, according to what the Ministry reiterates, consumers in possession of these cheeses are invited to discard them or return them to the point of sale for a refund.
