35 years after its first release, Mom I missed the plane returns to the big screen for a special event dedicated to fans of all ages. The film, released in 1990 and now become a symbol of the holidays, will be screened in Italy from 4 to 10 December in a new remastered version in 4K, bringing the magic of little Kevin McCallister’s adventures back to the cinema.
For this anniversary, the Italian cinemas that have joined the initiative will offer the opportunity to relive the story that made entire generations laugh. The comedy, written by John Hughes and nominated for two Oscars and two Golden Globes, tells the incredible adventures of Kevin, an eight-year-old boy who is forgotten at home by his large family leaving for the Christmas holidays.
Alone at home, Kevin quickly goes from the exhilaration of freedom to the challenge of defending his home from two bumbling thieves, all through a series of ingenious traps that have entered pop culture.

The return of the film to theaters will not be just a simple screening.
