Altroconsumo conducted a test on 15 different compostable bagschosen from the most popular brands on the market and purchased in supermarkets, hypermarkets, discount stores and shops specializing in household products.
The bags were subjected to practical tests by the Acmakers, a community of consumers, and laboratory tests to verify their performance. These are the main parameters on which the test was based:
Laboratory tests accounted for 60% of the final judgment, while practical tests accounted for 30% and the label accounted for 10%.
