By bicycle between the Saline del Molentargius? Do not miss the cycleotour in Quartu Sant’Elena and all the other events of the A.SI.Biri Festival

Sunday 22 June 2025, 10:00 am – marks this date on the calendar. If you are looking for a bicycle experience that combines spectacular nature, social inclusion and sustainable tourism, it marks this date on the calendar. The cyclootour of the Saline at the Molentargius park awaits you for a 10 -kilometer ride that you will hardly forget.

Prepare the bike (or rent it on the spot)

The path is suitable for everyone: families with children, expert cyclists, beginners and people with disabilities. If you have a bicycle, bring it. If you don’t have it, no problem: you can rent it directly on the spot. The important thing is to present yourself at the entrance of via Don Giordi ready to live a unique experience.

What to bring:

A path that breaks down the barriers

What makes this cyclotour special is not only the beauty of the Molentargius park. It is the fact that traditional bicycles and special bikes for athletes with disabilities will share the same path, including a tandem for the blind.

This is not a “special” event in the pietistic sense of the term, but a concrete demonstration that the beauty of the territory can be experienced together by everyone. The pink flamingos that populate the salt pans do not make distinctions between those who pedal, nor this event.

The ASD Follow me, which organizes the tour, has a clear philosophy: “achievement of psycho-physical well-being through the balance and inner harmony that allow you to fully savor the wonders of the world”. Daniela and her guides will accompany you to discover one of the most fascinating natural parks in Sardinia.

Free and open to all

Yes, you read that right: the cyclootour of the salt pans is completely free. No complex inscription, no hidden cost. Just show up on Sunday 22 June at 10:00 at the entrance to via Don Giordi with your bicycle (or rent one) and join the group.
This gratuitousness is not accidental: it is part of the philosophy of the A.SI.Biri – Ethical and Sustainable Tourism Festival, of which Cicloatour is one of the top events.

A.SI.Biri: Much more than a cyclotour

The cyclootour of the salt pans is only the appetizer of a festival that will last from 20 to 29 June 2025 and which promises to redefine the concept of tourism in Quartu Sant’Elena. A.SI.Biri, who in Sardinian Campidanese means “goodbye”, contains a deep message: the wish to find himself because the experience lived has left a mark in the heart.
