We have precious and timeless ones that we would never think of putting aside (let alone throwing away), and others of significantly inferior value that we often stop wearing after some time. What to do with it? Instead of abandoning them in the jewelry box, we could try to reuse them in a creative way. The DIY ideas are one cuter than the other.
Collar decoration
Do you have any pearl and beaded earrings? Remove the thin pin and glue the pearls to the collar. The effect is WOW!
Necklace
If you have earrings with removable charms, you could detach them and use them to create a DIY necklace. If they have a small hole, even better because you can thread the necklace thread through them.
Keychain
The dangling earrings lend themselves to becoming original DIY key rings. Just hook them onto the appropriate hooks.
Hat decoration
If you have earrings made up of multiple elements and perhaps you haven’t worn them for a while because some parts have fallen off, you could recover the individual fragments to create a decoration to apply on cotton hats.
Sweater decoration
Pearls and beads can be detached from old earrings by removing the pins and applied to the sleeves of a sweater or around a collar.
