Each new birth is a moment of overwhelming joy, so great that sometimes small details can escape. Let’s take the horses for example and their puppies, the foals. Do you know that the foals come to the world with those that many have nicknamed “fairies of fairies”?
Perhaps yes or not given that, probably, it is not exactly the first thing that attracts the attention of the observer. How to blame him because those who should look like small magical footwear of fairy have very little. For some, rather, they make an impression.
But what are these fairies and what are they for? Last but not least, why are they called that? Let’s make a premise: we put aside for a moment the image that we all have clogs and, generally, of the legs of the horses. We don’t even think about horseshoe.
The fairies of the fairies, in fact, are not so resistant at all. During gestation, the clods of the foals are covered by one soft membrane. The tissue is called eponymchio. Just this membrane, which creates a sort of protective caring, is what refers to the name “Fate shoes”. Its shape, however, changes.
Immediately after childbirth, in contact with the air, the membrane begins to consume itself and it is then that it takes on the appearance of false “fingers”. Hence his appearance at times even frightening. At the same time, the clogs of the foals are harden until the fairies of the fairies is no longer trace.

Let’s now move on to the function of these singular shoes. The foals are born with the already developed clogs and can support their legs and move independently from 20 minutes after birth. Just like children, the foals also move during gestation. The former, however, are not equipped with hooves.
To protect the mother from injury over pregnancy and at the time of childbirth, nature would have equipped the foals with these particular capsules. Although, as already mentioned, many agree that the poetic fairies shoes do not have anything, one cannot fail to be amazed by the natural world and by its infinite mechanisms.
