Now a new Video spread by activists local tells the sequel to the story. The animals have been moved without involving the International NGOswho had expressed willingness to offer professional help and safe spaces. The Maltese manager for the protection of animals has in fact rejected any comparisondeciding to proceed in total autonomy. A choice that led to a disastrous result.

Activists ask for pressure to be done, writing directly to the local authorities (veterinary.reguulation@mafa.gov.mt) to ask for a Urgent and decisive intervention.
It is unacceptable that in 2025 such extraordinary animals are treated as waste to be hidden. It is not enough to move them from one cage to another: it is time to guarantee them a worthy, free and safe life. Continuing to talk about it is a duty and spreading the news is an act of responsibility. Because even those who have no voice, have the right to be listened to.
