From the bat to the pumpkin, from the witch to the mummy, here’s how to make original Halloween costumes for babies, one cuter than the other. What is needed? Some onesies, sheets of black felt, old socks and things like that. Are you ready to transform your little boy or girl into a little (but cute) monster?
Bat
Put together a black bodysuit and two fabric wings made from an old sweatshirt of the same color and half the costume is practically ready. Simply attach two ears, two eyes and two felt teeth to a black cap. It takes a moment to make these details: draw them on the felt and cut them out.
Pumpkin
What does it take to turn into a cute pumpkin! Get a pair of black pants and a t-shirt of the same color. Draw the mouth, eyes and nose of the pumpkin on a sheet of orange felt. Sew them onto the shirt.
If you want to give an even more saccharine touch to the costume, add some orange pulls and a witch’s hat.
Witch
How do you turn into a witch? Get yourself a little black dress, striped socks, a short stick and some thin twigs. Attach the twigs around the end of the stick with string to create a mini witch’s broom. Have the all-black outfit worn and make a custom-made hat with your own hands. Here we explain how to create it with various materials.
Mummy
What a cute mini-mummy costume and to make it you only need a bit of gauze: roll them up (without tightening them too much) around the onesie and add a band on your head, leaving your face uncovered.
Ghost
The ghost is also simple to make:
Alternatively you can make a cape with ghost eyes and mouth.
Spider
With three pairs of black socks, old newspapers, some cardboard and a black onesie, you can make a very respectable spider costume.
Proceed like this:
