How wonderful! An artist has created a copy of Michelangelo’s David with over 635,000 LEGO bricks

A David Di Michelangelo appeared in the course of the event ‘Bricks in Bergamo‘, but not any copy, but a reconstruction made entirely of Lego bricks. The artist is Pierluigi Alberto Cervatiwhich has used over 635 thousand and which has employed more than 3 thousand hours of work to create what is definitely a work of art, faithful reproduction of the famous statue created by Michelangelo Buonarroti Between 1501 and 1504 AD incredible!

As the local portals report, the event was held on Saturday 20 and Sunday 21 September, and was organized by Brick city of Bergamo. It is certainly not the first edition, but in this the main attraction was undoubtedly the David di Michelangelo made of Lego.

The work was reproduced in 1: 1 scale (517 cm high, 600 kg of weight), with over 635,000 bricks. The author, Pierluigi Alberto Cervatihe is an artist already known that in 2022 he had completed the largest leago brick cruise ship, dedicated to his prematurely disappeared wife.
