The batch is the same, as is the factory and the type of contamination: three different brands ended up in the same recall. The Ministry of Health has published three notices concerning three packs of edible ice cubes, all attributable to a single manufacturer, Premium Italia Srl of Quarto d’Altino, in the province of Venice.
Because the ice was recalled
The reason is the same in the three cases, i.e. presence of intestinal enterococci beyond the tabular limits set by Legislative Decree 18/2023, the law that transposes European Directive 2020/2184 on water intended for human consumption. Enterococci are bacteria that live in the intestines of humans and animals; when they find themselves in the water, or in the ice that derives from that water, they signal contamination of faecal origin and a possible hygienic-sanitary risk.
The products involved
The products involved bear the batch B130426 and the same conservation date, set at 13 April 2028. What changes are the commercial brand, the chain that sells them and the format:

What to do if you purchased the product
The Ministry obviously recommends not consuming the product and taking it back to the point of sale where it was purchased, where it will be possible to request a refund.
