During quarantine in 2020, IKEA Russia has launched a creative campaign to help families fight boredomoffering ideas on how build forts and shelters inside the house. With the aim of reliving the charm of childhood adventures, IKEA has shared six simple instructionsbut fun, to transform everyday objects into castles, tents and other fantastic structures.
The campaign, promoted via the hashtag #явдомикеикеа (which means “I’m at home IKEA”), invites people to create these shelters using what they have available. The instructions are designed to be easy to follow and .
You can use anything from pillows to blankets to books to chairs to create a fort. For example, one of the forts, called “Höuse”, can be made with a table, two blankets, eight books and ten clothespins. This type of activity is perfect for entertaining children during long days at home, but also for adults who want to find a bit of lightness and creativity.

The structures proposed by IKEA are all designed to be welcoming and relaxingideal for reading a book, drawing or simply spending time in a safe and personal corner.
