Infinity Lab, the laboratory that turns ideas into reality and rewards the talent of independent filmmakers

In the Italian audiovisual panorama, where innovation often comes in small steps, Infinity Lab carves out a specific space for itself: that of an experimentation laboratory. Born within the Mediaset Infinity universe, from the collaboration with the crowdfunding platform “Produzioni dal Basso”, the project aims to intercept new languages and talents.

A bridge between creativity and production

The idea is simple but strategic: to offer emerging creators a space to develop formats that can then become original content for the platform. In this sense, Infinity Lab functions as an editorial and production incubator, supporting creative teams in the development phase and carrying forward only those projects that manage to combine originality and market potential.

In recent months, very different formats have emerged from the laboratory in terms of language and target, demonstrating a certain design freedom: docuseries, entertainment programs and narrative hybrids that seek to broaden the boundaries of traditional storytelling. These are not always “large” projects in the industrial sense, but often experiments capable of intercepting specific audiences and thematic niches.

A laboratory on the move

There is no shortage of more narrative projects, such as “The wonderful journey”, where Giulio Testa – professor and traveler – accompanies a heterogeneous group of students along the Via Francigena from the Tuscan village of Pontremoli to Rome. A physical and symbolic journey that becomes an opportunity to intertwine philosophy, experience and personal growth. transforming still raw intuitions into concrete products. The series is structured into eight episodes, each linked to a profound theme and a significant stage of the journey.

There are no blackboards or classrooms, lessons take place along the paths, among small villages, sinuous hills and lakes. This title also comes from Infinity Lab and embodies its spirit: a productive approach that prefers to test new ideas rather than repeat proven formulas.

Ex Post is coming soon, a new format that combines gaming and dissemination

Infinity Lab’s next experiment is called “Ex Post – Cronache dalla Fine”, an innovative format that mixes docu-series and environmental game shows and which will see us at greenMe directly involved as creative and production partners, together with Gray Ladder Productions.

But what exactly will Ex Post be? A narrative journey into a possible future, where four green influencers will challenge each other to imagine concrete solutions for the survival of the Planet. Between tests, dystopian scenarios and moments of confrontation, the series alternates scientific dissemination, competition and moments of lightness. For us at greenMe the challenge will be to transfer the environmental issues that we deal with daily on the site and on social channels into an audiovisual product, trying to reach everyone with a fresh style.

“Ex Post – Cronache dalla Fine” perfectly embodies Infinity Lab’s mission: hybridizing languages and formats to tell the present (and the future) with new eyes, without giving up entertainment.
