First of all – we always remember – the Perseid peak is not in the infamous one night of San Lorenzoor August 10th, for a long time, and this year, in particular, the peak is expected on the night between the 12th and 13th of the month. Furthermore, the period of activity is actually much broader (in the map the sky of July 20, 2026 at approximately 01:50).

For most observers, the best time for observing is late at night and in the early hours of dawn, when the radiant (the point from which meteors appear to launch) is highest.
