One Piece Kinder Eggs: the right weight to find Sanji
One Piece Kinder eggs are becoming all the rage in supermarkets — and that’s no surprise, considering the series’ overwhelming popularity across manga, anime and live action adaptations on Netflix. But among the three characters available as Funko Pop, one is decidedly more difficult to find than the others: Sanji.
Sanji is the rarest
While Luffy and Zoro seem to appear with some frequency, Sanji has proven to be the rarest character of the trio. This has sparked a real hunt in supermarkets, with collectors scouring the shelves armed with scales.
The weight to look for
According to reports collected, eggs containing Sanji generally weigh between 440 and 460 grams. Some collectors report finding it in slightly lighter eggs too, starting at around 430 grams.
The threshold to keep an eye on with the utmost attention is 464 grams: at that weight, in most cases, the Luffy Funko Pop is found. Therefore, just a few grams of difference are enough to end up with the wrong surprise – or with a character already collected.
What if you buy online?
Those who prefer to buy the egg on Amazon have the convenience of home delivery, but give up the possibility of weighing it before purchasing. In that case, as they say, you’re gambling — and the surprise is truly a surprise.
