If you have recently purchased chocolate protein pudding at Lidl, be careful. A batch was recently recalled from the market due to a microbiological risk. In this specific case, the Milbona brand product may have been contaminated by the bacterium Bacillus cereuswhich lives in the soil and causes food poisoning.

As anticipated, the recalled protein pudding is chocolate flavoured, is marketed by Lidl Italia and is sold in 200 gram jars. The manufacturer is Fude + Serrahn Milchprodukte GmbH & Co.
