“A tribute to women, to their strength and their essentiality”: thus in Liscate, in the Milan area, a 120 square meter mural appears.
It is “Prima Vera”, a choral work that interweaves four artistic visions into a single visual narrative. Created by four artists, in fact – Giuliana De Vita, Giulia Marchini, Ambra Iori and Margherita Yoko Finardi, with the support of Gioquellove (Giorgio Barbieri), it celebrates rebirth, strength and the connection between women and nature.
A mega project strongly supported by the administration with the support of Infinite Officine, a studio of professionals with a focus on innovation and new technologies.
It is a work that aims to be a tribute to women, to their strength and their essentiality – comments the Mayor of Liscate Lorenzo Fucci – four artistic visions that come together to create a unique and totally harmonious work that can enhance women in every profile.

This mural invites us to step outside of roles. Because if we stay within the roles, there will never be equity. In roles you run, you measure, you chase – and too often women find themselves chasing, says councilor Paola Micci, with responsibility for cultural services – But if we recognize ourselves as people, then there is no more running, there is no more distance: there is only shared humanity. And that’s where true equality comes from. We chose this place to be close to everyone, so that those who pass by every day could feel it as part of their own space. And so that little girls and boys, growing up here, could look at it and feel that they too can be anything they want; just as young and mature women can be.
And perhaps this is precisely the most powerful message of Spring: remind us that the strength of women does not need frames or definitions, but only to be seen, welcomed and respected. That wall in Liscate then becomes much more than a work of art – it is a seed of awareness, an invitation to flourish together, men and women, in mutual respect and in the freedom of being.
Because every rebirth, like every spring, always begins with a gaze that recognizes the beauty in others.
