We start again 15 years later
The new season, coming soon ABC on February 25, 2026 and streaming immediately thereafter on Hulupromises to blend nostalgia and modernity. The revival will pick up where the series left off, but with a fifteen-year time jump. The world has changed, medicine too, but the friendship between JD and Turk remains the beating heart of the story. And as always, between a surreal gag and an existential reflection, Scrubs will continue to remind us that laughing is the smartest way to survive pain.
At the creative helm of the project is now Asteem Batra, who took the reins after Tim Hobart’s exit, while maintaining the bright and melancholic tone typical of the show. Originally created by Bill Lawrence, Scrubs it was one of the symbols of 2000s television, capable of inspiring dozens of subsequent series focused on medicine. Now, with the return to Sacred Heart Hospital, ABC aims to awaken an entire generation of fans. After all, some stories don’t end: they just take a long, well-deserved break before returning.
