The creative team behind the finale
The conclusion of the series sees the involvement of prestigious names. Frank Darabont directed the fifth episode, written by the Duffer brothers. The sixth episode, based on a screenplay by Kate Trefry, was directed by Shawn Levy, a long-time collaborator of the series. The seventh chapter saw the Duffer brothers and Levy working together as directors, while the eighth and final episode was entirely written and directed by creators Matt and Ross Duffer, bringing the final fate of the characters they brought to life almost ten years ago back into their hands.

This fifth season is preparing to conclude one of the most successful stories in the streaming era, with the series having totaled almost 60 million views at the launch of the last cycle of episodes, confirming itself as one of the pillars of the Netflix catalogue.
