The artist who transforms trees into living canvases with his wonderful portraits. They seem painted on the trunk but that’s not the case!

Is called Dinho Bento The Brazilian artist who decorates the trunks of the trees with wonderful portraits.

Each face is painted on wooden sheets cut according to the shape of the cavities to which they are destined. Dinho fits them in the trunks, creating the illusion that portraits are painted directly on them. This choice is dictated by the desire not to deface nature, but to enrich it without missing them.

The artist’s goal is clear: help us rediscover and strengthen the deep bond that unites us with natureinviting us to feel part of it and not separated, as it also points out on its website:

Denying our interconnection damages all of us, individually and collectively. Taking care of nature is taking care of ourselves.

Some of these extraordinary portraits have been installed on the trunks of the Nagyerdei Park of Debracen, Hungary, others in Austria and Greece, others still in Ascoli Piceno. Each of them invites visitors to slow down, to listen to the quiet rhythm of nature and immerse themselves in the silent life of the trees.
