In Rome the Metrebus annual pass for students is also renewed for 2024 under 19 who want to purchase an Atac season ticket. For 12 months, with this travel pass, boys and girls will be able to use the bus, tram and subway service (and trains within the municipality border) without any additional expense except in the event of loss of the card. How to activate or renew the subscription?
The subscription has been reconfirmed at a cost of 50 euros and requests can already be made by accessing the MyAtac portal.
Who can request the Atac under 19 season ticket in Rome and how
The under 19 subscription is intended exclusively for young people residing in Rome and who have not yet turned 19 at the time of the request.
To request a subscription, both for the first activation and for renewal, it is necessary to enter the MyAtac portal. For minors, access must be done through the credentials of their parents or legal guardians.
Once logged in, you must locate the “Rome under 19” in the left column. If you already have a Personalized Metrebus Card, simply fill in the form with the required data and you will then have to upload an identity document and proceed with the payment of 50 euros to top up the Metrebus Card for one year.
If you do not yet have the Metrebus Card, after registering on the My Atac portal, you will have to complete a “pre-registration” and follow the application procedure. Subsequently, you will need to collect the card in person.
After receiving the confirmation email, it will be essential to print it and go to the ticket office to collect the card. Important: the ticket offices of Spagna and Piazza dei Cinquecento are not included in this service. Once you present an ID and photo, the Metrebus Card will be issued and activated after payment.
As for the renewal of the season ticket under 19 years of age, this takes place entirely online. Even for renewal, the validity will be 12 months.
