The Lord of the Rings – The Hunt for Gollum is a highly anticipated new chapter of the film saga born from Tolkien’s pen, but some news has shocked fans: Viggo Mortensen will not return as Aragorn. A decision that arises from a precise narrative direction. In fact, the film takes place before the events of The Fellowship of the Ringwhen Aragorn is not yet the king the audience knows, but a lone ranger known as Strider.
